The CPAWS auction ended last night - there were three pieces of art I really wanted to have and tried to win two of them. Unfortunately the site got bogged down last night close to the end and I couldn't get back in to increase my bid. Here are the pieces I wanted but didn't get:
This amazing mural is comprised of 216 16" x 16" original art panels. Dan and I were fortunate enough to see it live at the Ottawa Congress Centre in December. Each of the paintings is now up for auction on the CPAWS (Canadian Parks and Wildlife Society) website. All proceeds benefit CPAWS's important wilderness conservation campaigns. The auction is open until May 10, 2007 - I am hoping to win a couple pieces of this magnificent display myself.
