The Portland Japanese Garden is said to be one of the most authentic Japanese gardens outside of Japan. It is situated on 5.5-acres in the scenic west hills of Portland, Oregon and is a short walk from the International Rose Test Garden.
There are five distinct garden styles influenced by Shinto, Buddhist, and Taoist philosophies using compositions of stone, water, and plants. Each garden's objective is to realize a sense of peace, harmony, and tranquility.

Sand and Stone Garden

You have got a nice garden out there. I think a connection with plants means a connection with the nature itself.
